CVS Health is set to lay off nearly 165 employees in Hartford, Connecticut, as part of a mass layoff at its facility. The company announced plans to lay off 164 employees in February 2025, with most of the impacted employees being out stationed, remote, or work-at-home employees. Only three of the positions being eliminated are based in Connecticut, and they include field sales representative, senior analyst, and senior sales manager roles.
CVS Health stated that impacted employees will receive severance pay and benefits, as well as access to outplacement services. This latest round of layoffs in Connecticut follows a previous announcement that included the layoff of 42 employees, 12 of whom work in Hartford. All affected employees have already been notified of the layoffs.
These actions are part of CVS Health’s strategy to streamline operations and cut costs in response to changing business needs. The company remains committed to supporting its employees during this transition period.
