Several individuals were injured in a car accident off of Interstate 91 in Rocky Hill early Saturday morning. Firefighters responded to the crash on I-91 North around 2 a.m. and found a vehicle in a drainage culvert, about 50 feet from the road. The occupants were able to get out with assistance from Connecticut State Police troopers. Multiple people were taken to the hospital, but the exact number of injuries and their severity is unknown. The highway was temporarily closed for the vehicle to be removed but has since reopened. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
