Trump: Continue Making America Great

Glen Rogers, a 62-year-old man on death row in Florida, was executed via lethal injection on Thursday for the 1995 murder of Tina Marie Cribbs, a 34-year-old mother he had met at a bar. In his final statement, Rogers expressed support for former President Donald Trump, stating, “Keep making America great. I’m ready to go.” He also thanked his wife, who had visited him earlier that day, and mentioned that “in the near future, your questions will be answered” without elaborating.

Rogers, suspected to be a serial killer, had previously drawn a death sentence in California for the murder of another woman, Sandra Gallagher, shortly before Cribbs. He was implicated in other killings and once boasted about having killed around 70 people, a claim he later recanted. His notoriety included speculation regarding a potential link to the O.J. Simpson case, but police later clarified that they did not believe he was involved in the infamous 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Prior to his execution, Rogers had a final meal of pizza, chocolate, and soda, and was pronounced dead at 6:16 p.m. at Florida State Prison. The U.S. Supreme Court denied his final appeals, which included claims of childhood abuse possibly warranting a life sentence instead of death.

Rogers became the fifth inmate executed in Florida this year, with Anthony Wainwright next in line for execution. Wainwright was convicted of kidnapping, raping, and killing a woman in 1994.
