Man Charged with Running Drug Lab from West Haven Motel Room – NBC Connecticut

Man Arrested in West Haven Drug Operation Following Motel Investigation

West Haven, CT—Authorities have arrested a man accused of running a drug factory from a motel room at the Econo Lodge. The West Haven Street Crime Unit launched an investigation last month into the illegal distribution of crack cocaine and fentanyl. Investigators discovered that the suspect was accepting payments not only in cash but also in stolen goods.

Following the development of the suspect, police secured a search warrant for the motel room. On Tuesday, law enforcement conducted a motor vehicle stop, leading to the arrest of the suspect. An unrelated warrant was also found at the time of the arrest.

Subsequently, investigators executed the search warrant, uncovering multiple firearms, high-capacity magazines, over $20,000 worth of crack cocaine, a heroin/fentanyl mix, counterfeit fentanyl pills, and various merchandise with security tags still attached.

The suspect faces multiple charges, including operating a drug factory, illegal possession of firearms, and drug possession. He has been held on a $650,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Milford court. Two others were also taken into custody for related offenses and outstanding warrants.
