UConn Women’s Basketball Set for 12th Annual Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase
Springfield, Mass. – The University of Connecticut (UConn) women’s basketball team is poised to compete in the 12th annual Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase, featuring a tournament-style format, on November 21 and 23 at Mohegan Sun Arena, Uncasville, Conn. This announcement was made by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
The Huskies will kick off the tournament on November 21 with a matchup against Utah, marking their first-ever meeting with the Utes. UConn, boasting an impressive 45-1 record at Mohegan Sun Arena, is also set to face either Syracuse or Michigan on November 23. Historically, the Huskies hold a strong advantage over Syracuse with a 41-12 record but have never faced Michigan in their storied history.
Tickets for the highly anticipated 2025 Invesco QQQ Women’s Showcase will be available for purchase starting Friday, September 5, via Ticketmaster and at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office from Saturday, September 6. Notably, members of the Husky Athletic Fund will have exclusive early access to purchase tickets before the general sale commences.
