Miss Blue Revue Scholarship Program Crowns New Titleholder
The Theta Mu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. proudly hosted its annual Miss Blue Revue Scholarship Program at Galilee Baptist Church’s Bobby Taylor Life Center, celebrating young talent and ambition within the community.
This year, Little Miss Journee Bershere Jeffery was crowned Miss Blue Revue 2025. The first-grader from White Oak Primary School is not only a budding athlete, with dreams of becoming a professional basketball player, but also showcases her musical talents by singing in the youth choir at Valley View Baptist Church. She was escorted by her father, Rev. Steven Jeffery.
First runner-up honors went to Little Miss Neema Reign Barr-Pruitt, an 11-year-old fifth-grader at Hudson PEP Elementary School. Known for her dynamic stage presence, she aspires to become both an actor and a professional athlete. She was also accompanied by her father during the event.
The title of second runner-up was awarded to Little Miss Malani Serenity Jones, a kindergarten student at East Texas Montessori Prep Academy. At just 5 years old, Malani is actively involved in her church’s youth groups, enjoying praise dancing and choir activities. Her aspirations hold a wide range from dancing to singing and sports, and she was escorted by her father.
The event featured captivating talent performances and showcased each participant in career attire and pageant dresses. Entertainment highlights included a dance routine from Showtime Dance and youth praise dancers from Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church.
