The 2025 London Marathon witnessed an unprecedented 56,000 participants, marking a record turnout for the event’s 45th edition. Runners, including celebrities and enthusiastic cosplayers, tackled the grueling 26.2-mile route under a sweltering summer sun.

Sebastian Sawe claimed victory in the men’s elite race, clocking in at 2:02:25, while Tigst Assefa secured the women’s title with a remarkable 2:15:50.
