UConn’s offense exploded for ten runs in the seventh inning, with Cat Petteys hitting a grand slam to tie a NCAA record. The team had back-to-back games with 15+ hits, showcasing their strong offensive capabilities. The pitching duo of Kinney and Hope Jenkins limited Providence to just two hits. Grace Jenkins and Lexi Hastings had standout performances, recording multi-hit and multi-RBI games. Kaitlyn Breslin also contributed with multiple hits and RBIs.
