The UConn women’s tennis team ended their trip to Orlando, Florida with a strong 5-1 victory over Milwaukee. Despite starting off slow in doubles, the Huskies rallied to win five out of six singles matches, finishing the week 2-0 with a conference and non-conference win. Olivia Wright and Victoria Matos secured the team’s only doubles win, while Wright, Matos, Cameron Didion, Isabella Asenov, and Chloe Lomans all secured wins in singles. Head coach Glenn Marshall was pleased with the team’s response after dropping the doubles point, praising their energy and performance in singles matches. The Huskies’ dominating performance showcased their potential and determination on the court.
