A man was fatally shot on Moore Avenue in New London on Tuesday night. Police responded to a reported shooting just after 6:15 p.m. and found the man with gunshot wounds to the torso. He was taken to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released and the incident does not appear to be random. It is unclear if any arrests have been made in connection to the shooting. An investigation is currently ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 860-447-1481.
