The UConn women’s basketball team has been selected as the No. 2 seed in the Spokane 4 Region of the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship, marking their 36th consecutive appearance in the tournament. The Huskies will face off against No. 15-seed Arkansas on Saturday at 1 p.m. on ABC, with additional games featuring No. 7-seed Oklahoma State and No. 10-seed South Dakota State taking place on the same day.
This is the seventh time that UConn has been selected as a No. 2 seed in the tournament. The team has an impressive NCAA Tournament record, having advanced to 23 Final Fours and won 11 National Championships since their first appearance in 1988-89. Head coach Geno Auriemma, the winningest coach in postseason play, has led the Huskies to a record of 136-24 in NCAA Tournament games.
