Colorado Tesla dealership targeted by same woman in fourth vandalism incident leading to her arrest


A woman named Lucy Grace Nelson was arrested for suspected involvement in attempted arson and vandalism at a Tesla dealership in Northern Colorado. Nelson was found with incendiary devices and materials associated with vandalism at the dealership. This was the fourth incident reported at the location in recent weeks. Previous vandalism occurred on Jan. 29, Feb. 2, and Feb. 7. The specific devices and materials that Nelson possessed have not been disclosed by police, who have handed over the information to the ATF. Nelson was using the alias Justin Thomas Nelson, which was her former name. Nelson has been charged with the use of explosives or incendiary devices during a felony, criminal mischief, and criminal attempt to commit a Class 3 felony. Nelson’s bond was set at $100,000 cash surety by Magistrate Jill Sage, which was posted, and she is no longer in custody. An arraignment date is yet to be determined by the police.
