On Wednesday afternoon, emergency responders pulled a car from the Connecticut River in Middletown after receiving a report the night before that a vehicle had been driven into the river. The search for the vehicle started on Tuesday evening when police responded to Harbor Park and conducted a search until it needed to be suspended for safety reasons. The search was able to resume the next day and the car was successfully found and pulled from the water. At the moment, no additional information regarding the incident is available.
