New Haven police are investigating a bank robbery at Liberty Bank on Wednesday afternoon. A man wearing a ski mask, glasses, and a gray sweatshirt entered the bank around 1:42 p.m. claiming to have a gun, although witnesses didn’t see one. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot down College Street. No injuries were reported. In a separate incident, Ice deported a man convicted of a felony in New Haven to his home country of Jamaica.
