Francis has had multiple health issues in recent years, including surgery for diverticulitis and a hernia, as well as falls that resulted in injuries. Despite these challenges, he remains adamant that he feels well overall and is able to carry out his duties as the leader of the Catholic Church. With the ongoing Jubilee celebration expected to bring millions of visitors to Rome, there will be increasing scrutiny on the pope’s stamina as he continues to recover in the hospital.
