Snow and a mix of precipitation expected today, with more snowfall forecasted for this weekend.


A messy system is expected to bring 1″ to 3″ of snow across the state before transitioning to sleet, freezing rain, and rain in the afternoon. Clearing is expected tonight with temperatures rising through midnight. Tomorrow will be mostly sunny and windy with temperatures near 40° and falling in the afternoon. On Saturday, increasing cloudiness is expected with snow arriving in the evening and higher snow totals possible. Sunday will see an icy mix over 4″ to 9″ of snow ending by midmorning.
