Senior goaltender Megan Warrener secured her second shutout of the season with 20 saves. Freshman forward Claire Murdoch scored the lone goal of the game, marking her eleventh goal of the season and giving her 20 points in her rookie year.

The Huskies dominated the first period with an 11-5 shot advantage and maintained their lead through the second period despite being outshot by the Catamounts. UConn’s defense, led by Warrener’s six saves in the third period, secured their fifth shutout of the season.
