NBC Connecticut Monitoring Accumulating Snowfall in Connecticut on Sunday Evening

Our StormTracker meteorologists are closely monitoring the incoming storm system that is expected to bring snow to Connecticut on Sunday night and into Monday morning. Predictions currently indicate that between 2 to 4 inches of snow could accumulate during this time period.

The snowfall is projected to start around 7 p.m. on Sunday and subside by 7 a.m. on Monday. However, the exact amount of snowfall could vary depending on the proximity of a weather system to our region. If the storm system forms closer and earlier, we could potentially see higher snowfall amounts.

Due to Monday being Martin Luther King Jr. Day, travel impacts are expected to be limited as there will be less traffic on the roads. Residents are advised to stay updated on the latest forecast throughout the holiday weekend as conditions may change. Stay informed by visiting our website for real-time updates on the upcoming snowfall.
