NBC Connecticut reports that Rocky Hill High School has returned to regular operations following a lockdown.

Rocky Hill High School was put on lockdown on Tuesday after a threatening statement was discovered in a Google document. Superintendent Mark Zito confirmed that no actual threat was found and the school has now resumed normal operations. The lockdown was implemented as a precautionary measure and no visitors were allowed in or out of the building during the investigation. Police officers were called to the scene and determined that the statement was likely made by an unauthorized person who briefly accessed the account. The threatening statement appeared on two computer screens before being promptly deleted. The district reassured parents and students that there is no reason to be concerned and that the situation has been resolved. The school is now focusing on ensuring the safety and well-being of its students and staff as they continue with their academic activities.
