Super Bowl-winning quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany welcomed their third child, Golden Raye Mahomes, on Monday. The couple already has two other children, Sterling Skye Mahomes and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III. They had announced in July that they were expecting their third child, a daughter. Mahomes had said he was aiming for the No. 1 seed in the AFC so he could have the weekend off to celebrate the birth. The Kansas City Chiefs ended the season with a record of 15-2, securing the top spot in the AFC. The Chiefs are aiming for their third consecutive Super Bowl win and their fourth in six seasons. Mahomes still has a ways to go to match Tom Brady’s seven Super Bowl rings, but if he were to earn a fourth ring, he would join the select club of four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks, alongside Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana.
