Three individuals were arrested in Waterbury after a routine traffic stop on Thursday evening resulted in the discovery of illegal substances. Waterbury police apprehended Joshua Marcy and two others after seizing crack cocaine, fentanyl, cash, and drug paraphernalia. Marcy, along with Randi Shook and Brittany Waldron, were charged with various drug-related offenses, including operating a drug factory and possession of narcotics with intent to sell. They were all held on $50,000 bonds pending their court arraignments scheduled for January 10. The arrest happened as officers were patrolling the Willow Street and Hillside Street area. The police department praised the proactive work of the officers in detecting and stopping illegal activities on the streets of Waterbury. This incident serves as a reminder of law enforcement’s dedication to combating drug trafficking and other criminal activities in the community.
