UConn Men’s Basketball’s Alex Karaban Named to Wooden Award Watch List
UConn men’s basketball star Alex Karaban has been recognized for his outstanding performance this season by being named to the 2024-25 Men’s Midseason Top 25 Watch List for the John R. Wooden Award. Karaban, a junior standout, has been a key player for the No. 9 Huskies, leading the team with 16.3 points per game and excelling in various statistical categories in the BIG EAST conference.
Karaban, who has scored in double figures 11 times this season and recorded five 20+ point games, has been a crucial part of the team’s success since his arrival on campus in January 2022.
