Siemens has launched a new cybersecurity software as a service (SaaS) called SINEC Security Guard to help industrial operators identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in their operational technology (OT) systems. The software offers automated vulnerability mapping and security management optimized for industrial environments, allowing operators without cybersecurity expertise to address risks efficiently. The software prioritizes mitigation measures and integrates with Microsoft Sentinel for comprehensive threat detection and response. Additionally, the software supports manual asset information uploads or automatic asset inventory management through the Siemens Industrial Asset Hub. It includes a network intrusion and attack detection sensor and is accessible through the Siemens Industrial Edge Marketplace.
