Connecticut started off the new year with a lucky winner as a Lucky for Life ticket sold in East Haven won $25,000 a year for life on New Year’s Day. The winning numbers were 7-15-17-39-40 with the Lucky Ball being 16. The ticket matched all five white balls and was sold at Stop & Go on Main Street.
The winner has until June 30 to claim their prize. The jackpot for Lucky for Life is $365,000 a year for life, but no one won the top prize in this draw. The odds of winning $25,000 a year for life are one in 1.8 million while the odds of winning the jackpot are one in 30.8 million.
