The motorcycle was traveling northbound on Campbell Avenue when it struck the pedestrian, causing the driver to lose control and crash. Campbell Avenue was closed for six hours as authorities investigated the accident. The West Haven Police Major Accident Squad is conducting an investigation into the incident.
