A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the entire state of Connecticut, with visibility at or less than 1/4 mile in many areas. The advisory is in effect until 7 AM for southern counties and 11 AM for northern counties, so caution is advised for those traveling on the roads.
Along with the fog, a blanket of clouds covers the state with a few showers expected. Despite the dreary weather, temperatures are on the mild side, with highs reaching the mid-50s compared to the December average in the 30s and 40s. This warm trend is expected to continue with rain showers in the forecast for the next few days.
Looking ahead, the beginning of 2025 may bring cooler temperatures and sunshine to the region. For now, residents are advised to stay updated on the weather forecast and be prepared for the potential of rain and fog in the coming days.
