The Cancer Center received $7.2 million in philanthropic support for renovations, expected to be completed by mid-2025. LMH Health was recognized as a Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee and Hip Replacement, showcasing expertise in joint surgeries. They also earned accreditation for treating heart failure patients from the American College of Cardiology ACC. The addition of a PET scanner, funded by donations and corporate partners, has enhanced diagnostic capabilities for oncology and cardiology patients.
LMH Health made a sustainable choice in medical waste disposal through a partnership with WasteMedX, utilizing ozone treatment technology. This initiative not only reduces the health system’s carbon footprint but also saves money in the long run. The addition of new physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) has strengthened the medical staff, contributing to better patient care. Three new senior leadership team members also joined the organization in different roles.
