The Jaguars, in partnership with AT&T, First Coast YMCA, and the NFL Foundation Digital Divide grant, recently hosted a Seniors Technology Training Camp at EverBank Stadium. The event, part of the League’s Inspire Change initiative, aimed to bridge the technology gap for senior citizens. Ninety participants from the YMCA Silver Sneakers program received basic technology and cybersecurity training, as well as sessions on refilling prescriptions and telehealth appointments. The agenda included navigating transportation apps, social media platforms, and online city services. Each participant also received an iPad to take home. This marks the first time an NFL team has used funds to support technology training for seniors. For more information, visit the Jaguars website.
