Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season just wrapped up with a Monday Night Football doubleheader. The first game saw the Minnesota Vikings dominating the Chicago Bears 30-12, showcasing strong performances from their skill players. Aaron Jones led all rushers with 86 yards and a touchdown, while Justin Jefferson had a touchdown catch. However, the Bears are on an eight-game losing streak and fall to 4-10 on the season.
In the second game, the Atlanta Falcons narrowly defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 15-9. Despite the win, Falcons’ quarterback Kirk Cousins struggled with only 112 passing yards and was sacked three times. Running back Bijan Robinson stood out with 125 rushing yards, helping the Falcons improve to 7-7.
On the losing side, Raiders quarterback Desmond Ridder failed to lead his team to victory against his former team, the Falcons. Ridder had 208 passing yards with one touchdown and a pick while being sacked three times. The loss drops the Raiders to 2-12 for the season.
Both teams will need to make adjustments as they head into the final weeks of the season. The Vikings look strong at 12-2, while the Falcons and Raiders will need to step up their game to finish the season on a high note. Cousins and Ridder will need to improve their performances to help their teams secure wins in the coming weeks.
