A potential drone sighting near Bradley International Airport has sparked concerns as pilot audio recordings captured a drone flying close to the airport. The CT Airport Authority confirmed reports of drone sightings around Bradley on Dec. 12 and 13 but assured that the drones never entered airport airspace or impacted operations.
Meanwhile, reports of unidentified aerial phenomena have been coming in from across the Northeast, including a video from Kade Walker in Pine Meadow, Connecticut, showing a large drone-like object in the sky. State officials are working with federal and local partners to investigate these reports and ensure the safety of residents.
Governor Ned Lamont emphasized the need to address these sightings seriously and has instructed the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection to collect information on the reported sightings. While the nature of these drones remains unclear, officials are working to determine the cause and ensure the safety of residents in the area.
