Connecticut High School Football Rankings as of December 16, 2024


The 2024 Connecticut high school football season has come to a close, with Choate Rosemary Hall School finishing as the No. 1 team in the state after a strong victory over Brunswick Academy. New Canaan topped the public schools in the state rankings. Choate Rosemary Hall School, led by standout offensive lineman Will Black, secured the top spot with their impressive performances. Avon Old Farms and Phillips Exeter Academy also featured talented rosters, despite some losses throughout the season.

In the public school division, New Canaan claimed the Class L state championship with a 35-21 win over Darien. Greenwich defeated West Haven for the Class LL state championship, while Windsor fell to Masuk in the Class MM state championship game. Darien, Staples, and Fairfield Prep had solid seasons but ultimately fell short of winning it all.

Highly talented players such as Blake Hebert, Matty Augustine, and Jaylen Pray showcased their skills for Brunswick School, demonstrating the depth of talent in the Connecticut high school football scene. Despite some unexpected losses, teams like Staples and Windsor displayed resilience and determination throughout the season.
