Bristol Police Arrest Two Suspects Involved in Luxury Car Theft Operation – NBC Connecticut

Two men, Nelshon Pires and Andy Semedo, were arrested in Bristol, Connecticut, in connection to a series of high-end car thefts in the area. The Bristol Police Department responded to a call about suspicious activity on Dec. 8 and found the two men near a car dealership, where they were accused of stealing expensive vehicles from various dealerships over the past few years. The men were found with burglary tools, including Autel programming devices that allowed them to create functioning car keys without the original set. Along with 10 other individuals, they were part of a joint operation in Massachusetts where authorities seized guns, magazines, ammunition, and more. The thefts totaled over $2.6 million, with 63 cars stolen between June 2023 and December 2024. The thieves are believed to have coordinated their efforts in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Pires and Semedo are set to appear in court on Dec. 23 to face charges related to the thefts.
