Two minors have been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting that took place in Windsor on Tuesday. Officers received a 911 call reporting a domestic-related incident in the 500 block of Bloomfield Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, an officer heard gunshots and saw a male and female fleeing in a blue Honda Accord. The victim, a man with multiple gunshot wounds, was found in the driveway and later pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital. The suspects abandoned their vehicle in Bloomfield and fled the scene.
After an extensive search with K9s and a drone, the suspects, described as minors, were found and taken into custody in West Hartford. Their identities have not been released. The investigation is ongoing, and additional police patrols will be present in the area. There is currently no known threat to the community.
