Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new sexual assault and rape accusations in five civil lawsuits filed by attorney Tony Buzbee in the Southern District of New York. The suits allege that Combs sexually assaulted or raped the plaintiffs in separate incidents between 2000 and 2022, including allegations of drugging. Two of the plaintiffs are men and three are women, with one woman claiming she was raped by Combs when she was 13 years old.
Buzbee plans to file a total of seven suits against Combs and others. Combs has denied all accusations in previous suits filed against him by Buzbee. He is currently being held without bail on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges, with a criminal trial scheduled to start on May 5. Federal prosecutors are going through data on over 90 devices seized from Combs’ properties.
Combs’ legal team has filed a motion requesting that his accusers in the federal sex trafficking case be publicly identified to prepare a proper defense. Several individuals, including Dawn Richard, have sued Combs with allegations of assault and abuse. Despite the lawsuits and allegations, Combs continues to deny all accusations against him.
The latest lawsuits come at a time when Combs’ legal team is fighting his bail denial, with an appeal filed in New York’s federal appeals court. This wave of accusations follows a pattern of legal challenges for Combs, including previous lawsuits and settlements. Combs’ legal team remains confident in the facts and their defenses, stating that the truth will prevail in court.
