The week is starting off with unseasonably warm weather and plenty of sunshine. Highs today and tomorrow are expected to be in the mid to upper 70s, with some locations possibly reaching into the low 80s. Despite the warm temperatures, the fire danger remains high due to the lack of rain.
A weakening cold front will bring a few dying showers on Wednesday night, and another front may bring scattered showers early on Saturday morning. However, there is no significant rainfall in the forecast, which is much needed to alleviate the dry conditions.
Today will be mainly clear and cool in the morning, with patchy dense fog in some areas. Tomorrow will be another sunny and warm day, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. By Thursday, a brief shower is possible overnight, with temperatures beginning to cool down into the low to mid 70s.
As the week progresses, temperatures will continue to drop, with highs in the upper 50s to near 60 on Friday. Saturday will bring mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers possible, and Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 60s. Despite the warm start to the week, cooler temperatures are on the way as the week progresses.
