Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to publicly slam fellow billionaire Mark Cuban, who has been actively supporting Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential race. Trump labeled Cuban a “loser” and criticized his lack of athletic abilities, in response to Cuban mocking Trump’s tariff proposals at a Harris campaign rally.
The two billionaires’ relationship has soured since 2015 when Cuban praised Trump as a positive force in politics. Cuban has since turned his support towards Harris, endorsing her in the 2020 election and becoming a vocal surrogate for her campaign.
Cuban’s support for Harris has led to speculation about his own political ambitions, with rumors of potentially replacing the Securities and Exchange Commission Chair. Meanwhile, Trump has found support from Elon Musk, fueling yet another rivalry between the two billionaire businessmen.
The animosity between Trump and Cuban is a far cry from their earlier friendly relationship, with Cuban now openly criticizing Trump’s policies and leadership. The two billionaires’ public feud is not only a clash of personalities but also reflects the broader political divisions and alliances in the current presidential race.
