Another beautiful day with sunshine and warmth, followed by cooler temperatures next week.

The weather in Connecticut is set to be unusually warm and sunny for this time of year, with highs in the 70s across the state. While most of the state is abnormally dry, there is a frost advisory in Litchfield county until 9 AM this morning. It is recommended to protect any vulnerable plants.

The warm weather is expected to continue through the week, with temperatures reaching the upper 70s inland on Tuesday. However, a front may bring some showers late Wednesday into Thursday morning, followed by cooler air settling in.

Today, there will be plenty of sunshine with highs of 70-75 degrees, while tonight’s lows will be in the mid-40s. Monday and Tuesday will also be bright and warm, with highs of 75-80 and mid to upper 70s, respectively.

Wednesday will see mostly sunny skies with highs in the low-mid 70s, and a few showers possible overnight. Thursday will be partly sunny, windy, and cooler with highs of 60-65.

By the end of the week, temperatures will drop with highs in the upper 50s on Friday and low to mid-60s on Saturday and Sunday. There is a chance of showers on Sunday, otherwise, it will be partly sunny.
