A multi-vehicle crash on I-91 southbound in Rocky Hill on Friday night left three people injured, according to fire officials. The incident resulted in all lanes of the southbound portion of the highway being shut down as police conducted their investigation. The Rocky Hill Fire Department reported that three vehicles were involved in the crash, with all of them overturning near exit 23. One of the vehicles was fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival. Two individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while a third person was treated for what officials described as life-threatening injuries. Emergency medical services transported the injured individuals for further treatment. Fire crews were also dispatched to the scene, with the crashes occurring just before 9 p.m. on Friday night. The extent of the damage and the cause of the crash are still under investigation. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling in the area and to expect delays as the investigation continues.
