The debate also involved sparring over trusting ‘experts,’ Hurricane Helene being referred to as a ‘horrific tragedy,’ and the importance of steady leadership in response to an Iran missile strike. Looking back at Vance and Walz’s political careers, it was noted that Walz may try to ‘muck up’ the debate with personal attacks.
