Country music fans in Connecticut have something to look forward to as Rascal Flatts has announced a tour that will bring them to the Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, March 14. The band, celebrating their 25th anniversary next year, had initially announced a farewell tour in 2020 but have now decided to come out of hiatus and hit the road again.
After facing delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band feels rejuvenated and ready to reconnect with their fans. “It’s hard to believe that next year will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts, and that felt like the perfect time to get back in front of the fans who have given us so much,” the band stated on their website.
The tour, named “Life is a Highway,” will kick off in February and will feature special guests Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane. More guest appearances are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets for the show at Mohegan Sun Arena will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, giving fans a chance to secure their spot for what promises to be an unforgettable night of country music. With Rascal Flatts back on the road and ready to entertain, fans can expect a high-energy show filled with hits from the band that has been a staple in the country music scene for a quarter of a century.
