Continued calm weather persists


The weather in the region will continue to be a mix of clouds and sun with cooler temperatures from the Atlantic Ocean. There is a chance of rain with a dying line of showers early on Saturday and another line early next week. In addition, there is potential for development in the southern Gulf of Mexico.

Temperatures for today are expected to range from 65-70 degrees with intervals of clouds and sunshine. Tomorrow will be warmer with highs in the low to mid 70s, while Friday will be warm with a bit of humidity and highs of 75-80.

Over the weekend, early morning showers on Saturday will clear up to a partly sunny sky with highs of 70-75. Sunday will start mostly sunny but clouds will increase late in the day with highs near 70. Early morning showers can also be expected on Monday, with partial sunshine and highs of 65-70.

By Tuesday, temperatures will drop, with highs only in the 60s. Wednesday may see scattered frost in the Northeast and Northwest hills early on, with sun and clouds throughout the day and highs in the 60s.
