The Soundside Music Festival at Bridgeport’s Seaside Park is happening this weekend, but with a last-minute change to the lineup. Foo Fighters announced they won’t be performing on Sunday, leaving some ticket holders disappointed. Adrienne Nagy, who spent $1,000 on tickets, expressed frustration and reached out to promoters for a refund. Tom Russell, co-founder of the festival, explained that they quickly added Jack White and Greta Van Fleet to fill the gap.
Despite the change, the festival promises two days of entertainment with 20 bands on a rotating stage. Acts like Boyz II Men, Norah Jones, and the Goo Goo Dolls are set to perform. Russell emphasized that attendees can expect live music, local food and beverages, and various activities to enjoy.
The festival grounds were being set up on Friday with rows of food and drink tents, a beer garden, and picnic area. The rotating stage allows for seamless transitions between bands, providing a non-stop music experience for the audience.
Overall, the Soundside Music Festival offers a diverse lineup of artists and a lively atmosphere for music lovers to enjoy over the weekend. Despite the last-minute change to the headliners, organizers have worked hard to ensure that attendees will still have a memorable experience with top-notch performances and a variety of activities to partake in.
