CNN’s Alisyn Camerota announced the passing of her husband, Tim Lewis, who died in July after a two-year battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Lewis, 58, was described as a brave, humorous, and humble individual by Camerota, who shared the news on Instagram. The couple would have celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary this month. They have three children together – twin daughters Ale and Cessa, and son Nate. Lewis was known for his commitment to community service, volunteering at homeless shelters and supporting education and scholarship funds. In his memory, Camerota and her family have set up a fund to help others going through similar struggles.
Lewis, originally from Kansas City, Missouri, was a Yale University graduate with a successful career in private equity and business consulting. Camerota expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received, including gestures of kindness like trays of lasagna. As they navigate through this loss, Camerota and her children are striving to uphold the strength and stability that Lewis embodied. She plans to return to work in the coming weeks, but for now, they are focusing on honoring his legacy and memories.
