Team Penske is dominating the NASCAR playoffs with Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, and Austin Cindric leading the way. Logano secured a spot in the Round of 12 with a win at Atlanta Motor Speedway, while Blaney and Cindric performed well in the opening stages. The Round of 16 continues next Sunday at Watkins Glen.
In the latest NASCAR power rankings, Tyler Reddick retains the top spot, followed by Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson. Despite a Stage 1 crash, Larson is still in contention. Blaney’s third-place finish gives him the overall points lead, while William Byron is comfortably positioned above the cutline.
Denny Hamlin had a tough weekend at Atlanta, finishing 24th and barely above the cutline. Joey Logano, known for his even-year magic, is looking strong in the playoffs. Chase Elliott had a solid run at his home track, finishing in the top-10. Ty Gibbs is on the playoff bubble after a late caution at Atlanta.
Alex Bowman had a strong finish at Atlanta, boosting his chances of advancing in the playoffs. The first four out of the playoffs currently include Austin Cindric, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, and Daniel Suarez. With Watkins Glen on the horizon, the pressure is on for drivers to secure their spots in the next round of the playoffs.
