State police in Connecticut are on the lookout for a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a pedestrian on Interstate 91 in Cromwell Friday night. The incident involved a 2023 Tesla Model with six occupants, including a soon-to-be three-year-old child. The 38-year-old Tesla driver parked on the right shoulder of I-91 South and was struck by a 2017 Honda that swerved into the right shoulder. The driver of the Honda fled the scene, leaving the Tesla operator with serious injuries. The five occupants of the Tesla were unharmed. The Honda, described as a small white sedan with damage to the front driver’s side, remains at large. State police are urging anyone with information to contact them at 860-534-1000.
