British rock band Oasis, known for defining the Britpop era of the 1990s with hit songs like Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger, has announced a reunion tour after splitting in 2009 due to sibling rivalry between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. The band will play 14 shows in the UK in 2025, starting in Cardiff and including stops in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Tickets for the highly anticipated tour will go on sale on Saturday, with plans for global shows outside Europe next year as well. The announcement comes 15 years after the band’s split, which was sparked by tensions between the Gallagher brothers during a festival in Paris. Despite their rocky relationship, both Liam and Noel have continued to perform individually to sold-out crowds. The reunion tour will mark 30 years since Oasis’s iconic album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? was released in 1995. Liam Gallagher has expressed a desire to patch things up with his brother, emphasizing that their relationship as brothers is more important than reuniting for financial gain. Fans are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to see the band back together on stage, in what is expected to be one of the biggest live moments of the decade.
