Glow Wild Lantern Festival is making a comeback at Beardsley Zoo, reports NBC Connecticut

The Glow Wild Lantern Festival is making a return to Beardsley Zoo for the third year. Spanning 30 acres, the festival offers guests the chance to stroll through illuminated corridors featuring wildlife. Running from Sept. 26 to Dec. 15 on Thursdays through Sundays from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the festival will be closed for a private event on Oct. 11 to 13, as well as on Halloween and Thanksgiving.

To ensure entry, visitors are encouraged to purchase timed tickets online in advance. While a limited number of tickets may be available at the door based on zoo capacity, it is recommended to secure tickets in advance. Prices for guests ages 12 and up are $22, children 11 and under are $20, and children under 2 years old and adults over 76 years old can enter for free.

Wheelchairs and strollers will be available to rent on a first-come-first-serve basis for guests who require them. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the event’s website. Don’t miss the chance to experience this magical festival and support the zoo’s conservation efforts.
