Former flight attendant Paul Veneto is embarking on a 200+ mile journey pushing an actual airline beverage cart from Boston’s Logan Airport to Ground Zero in New York City. The cart weighs about 60 lbs and serves as a symbolic reminder of the flight attendants who lost their lives on the 4 flights that crashed on September 11, 2001. Despite the physical challenge of his trek, Veneto is motivated by a deep sense of purpose to honor his fallen colleagues and ensure that their sacrifices are not forgotten.
Throughout his journey, Veneto has been met with support from well-wishers, local police and fire departments, and cheering residents. Despite the emotional toll of his mission, Veneto remains determined to keep the memory of the flight attendants who served as the first responders in the sky on 9/11 alive.
