The game, organized by former Cincinnati Reds pitcher Rob Dibble, saw retired athletes facing off against Connecticut state troopers in a competitive match that ended in a tie. The event was a way to honor Trooper First Class Pelletier, who tragically lost his life in May during a traffic stop on I-84 in Southington.
