Police in Willimantic are on the lookout for a suspect who robbed a local gas station at gunpoint on Monday night. The incident took place at the A-1 gas station on Main Street around 6:11 p.m.
The suspect, described as a man in his mid-20s to early 30s with an average build and standing between 5-feet-8 and 5-feet-11, entered the store holding a gun and took cash from the register. Although the gun has not been located, authorities are warning the public that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
